About this Klondike Solitaire
Seven columns are dealt with one more card each moving right, only the last card of each face up. Build the columns down in alternating colours — a red card on a black one, one rank lower each time — and move completed sequences onto the four foundations in order, Ace to King, one pile per suit, to win.
Tap a card to select it (or the last card of a valid sequence, to move that whole run together), then tap the pile you want to move it to. Only a King can start a new pile on an empty column. Clicking the stock draws to the waste pile; once the stock is empty, clicking it again recycles the waste back into a fresh stock in the same order, exactly as a real deck would.
Choose Draw 1 for the easier, more common online variant, or Draw 3 for the more traditional and more challenging version where cards are revealed three at a time.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move more than one card at a time?
Yes — tap the card at the top of the sequence you want to move (the one furthest up the column), and the whole valid run beneath it moves together, as long as it's a genuine alternating-colour, descending sequence with every card face up.
What happens when the stock runs out?
Clicking the empty stock recycles the waste pile back into it, preserving the same draw order you'd get from a real deck rather than reshuffling.
What's the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?
Draw 1 reveals one card from the stock at a time, the easier and more common online variant. Draw 3 reveals three at once but only the top card of those three can be played, which is the more traditional and more difficult version.
Does a face-down card automatically flip when it's exposed?
Yes — whenever a move leaves a face-down card as the new top of its column, it turns face up automatically, matching standard rules.
