Spot the Difference
Find every difference between the two scenes. A fresh scene generates every game.
About this spot the difference game
Two versions of the same scene sit side by side, with a set number of differences between them — an object might have changed colour or size, turned to face a different way, moved somewhere else, or vanished entirely. Click a spot in either image where you think something's different; a correct find is marked and stays visible, and the game ends once every difference has been found.
Every game generates a brand new scene from simple shapes rather than reusing a fixed picture, so no two rounds are the same — pick a theme (Garden, Night Sky, or Under the Sea) and how many differences to look for, and a fresh pair of scenes builds instantly.
Your best time is tracked separately for each difference count, since finding 5 differences and finding 12 aren't really comparable achievements. Nothing about your game is uploaded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Do I click the left image or the right one to mark a find?
Either — a difference exists between the two scenes, so clicking the correct spot in whichever image you're looking at counts the same way.
What kinds of differences should I look for?
A colour change, a size change, an object rotated to face differently, something that's moved position, or something present in one scene but missing from the other.
Does clicking the wrong spot cost me anything?
No penalty — a miss just shows a brief mark so you know that spot didn't have anything, and you can keep searching.
Is the scene ever exactly the same twice?
Practically never — both the layout of objects and which ones differ are generated fresh each time you start a new game.
