A palette that looks balanced on a calibrated monitor can read completely differently once it is printed, pinned to a wall, or held next to a fabric sample or paint chip — which is exactly why designers still print physical swatch sheets for mood boards, client reviews and studio walls. This tool takes a list of hex codes and lays them out as clean, labelled cards ready to print and cut.
Paste your colours one per line. Full six-digit hex, three-digit shorthand and bare codes without the hash all work, and you can add an optional name after each code — anything after the hex on that line is treated as the label, so #1E3557 Deep Navy gives you a card named "Deep Navy". Choose which values print on each card: HEX and RGB are on by default, HSL is available for anyone working in that space, and names can be switched off entirely for a cleaner sheet.
Card size controls how many fit across the page — six across for a compact reference strip, three across when you want large enough blocks to judge a colour properly against physical materials. Because a printed page holds a fixed number of cards, the tool tells you exactly how many of your colours fit and flags any that overflow rather than silently cutting them off, so nothing disappears without you knowing.
The "Sort by hue" button reorders your list around the colour wheel, which makes related shades sit together and usually reads better on a printed sheet than the order they were pasted in. It rewrites the text box, so your original order is only a paste away if you preferred it.

What colour formats can I paste in?

What happens if I paste more colours than fit on a page?
The tool shows how many fit and tells you how many are left over rather than silently dropping them. Choose a smaller card size to fit more, or print in two batches.
Will the printed colours exactly match my screen?
No — and that is the honest answer for any printed colour. Screens emit light while paper reflects it, and printer inks, paper stock and profiles all shift the result. Printed swatches are for judging relationships between colours in physical light, not for exact colour matching, which needs a calibrated workflow and proper reference swatches.
Make sure "Background graphics" is enabled when printing
Most browsers can strip background colours from printed pages by default. If your cards print as empty outlines, look for a "Background graphics" or "Print backgrounds" option in the print dialog and switch it on.
