About this word scramble
Every word's letters are shuffled into a random order — the shuffle always uses exactly the same letters as the real word and is never left identical to the unscrambled version by chance. Tap a letter tile to place it in the next open slot, or tap a placed tile to send it back if you change your mind. A short clue is shown above the letters to help.
Easy uses short 3-4 letter words, Medium moves to 5-6 letters, and Hard covers longer 7-9 letter words. The Clear button empties your answer back to the scrambled tiles if you want to start the word over.
Frequently asked questions
What if a word has a repeated letter, like "apple"?
Each letter tile works on its own, so it doesn't matter which matching tile you tap first — only the final order of letters in your answer is checked.
Can the scrambled letters ever look exactly like the real word?
No — if a shuffle happens to land back on the original order, it's reshuffled automatically before you ever see it.
What does the Clear button do?
It sends every tile you've placed back to the scrambled row, so you can start arranging that word again from scratch.
Does the clue give away the answer?
It's meant to point you in the right direction without spelling anything out — you'll still need to work out the letter order yourself.
